Project teams globally continue to have challenges with the workflows related to rooms and spaces between trades. "The architect messed up the rooms I was using” is something commonly murmured in the corridors of the MEP engineer's office. In this session, we'll discuss and demonstrate some room-to-space workflows between trades, and we'll discuss how to more effectively deal with change management that occurs.

The basic premise of the Forge Viewer is to be able to display your designs in a web browser and interactively showcase them. But what if we want to create more-advanced interactions, like, for instance, adding custom geometry or manipulating the geometry of our models. This class will look at the possibilities and limitations of such techniques using the Forge Viewer and demonstrate how this can be done, walking you through a set of code samples. We’ll look at the way the Forge Viewer handles geometry, how to create and add custom geometry to models, and how to create basic tools, like push/pull faces, to manipulate that geometry directly in a browser.

We'll take a closer look at how users can save time and easily track deliverables into Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Build automatically. By combining Autodesk Construction Cloud (cloud platform) to Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect (ready-to-use integration platform), users can create their own custom applications using "recipes,” and follow the delivered models and drawings. New regulations, requirements and guidelines around sustainability are emerging rapidly around the world. The commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water and waste calls for sustainable buildings and infrastructure. Sustainability regulations and requirements in Scandinavia (and the rest of Europe) are putting forward demands that require new ways of working and better data insight e.g., Environmental Production Declaration (EPD) data. One example is that all new buildings above a certain size need to be Life-cycle Assessment (LCA) documented and compliant. Do we have the digital tools needed to work with sustainability in an efficient way? In this panel some of the Scandinavia's largest architect companies and engineering companies together with NTI (one of Autodesk's largest global partners) will share how they are working with digital tools and solutions to be compliant with sustainability regulations and how they see this developing in the future.

However, the fragmented nature of the ecosystem often leads to inconsistencies and errors in data transfer, making it difficult to maintain a seamless MEP workflow. This course aims to explore how you can maximize Revit software's Data Exchange feature to overcome the challenge of data curation and sharing. The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is in possession of massive amounts of data, but often struggles to turn it into profit.
