    Description

The basic premise of the Forge Viewer is to be able to display your designs in a web browser and interactively showcase them. But what if we want to create more-advanced interactions, like, for instance, adding custom geometry or manipulating the geometry of our models. This class will look at the possibilities and limitations of such techniques using the Forge Viewer and demonstrate how this can be done, walking you through a set of code samples. We’ll look at the way the Forge Viewer handles geometry, how to create and add custom geometry to models, and how to create basic tools, like push/pull faces, to manipulate that geometry directly in a browser.

    Key Learnings

    • Discover how the Forge Viewer generates and handles geometry
    • Learn how to add geometry to your models in the Forge Viewer
    • Learn how to manipulate geometry in the Forge Viewer
    • Learn about the possibilities and limitations of manipulating geometry using the Forge Viewer
